QUICK REVIEW: Maybelline Baby Lips

I have a major obsession with lip products! If you saw yesterdays “What’s In My Purse” post you saw that I have at least five lip products in my bag at any given time! I know, I might need an intervention. So as soon as Maybelline released their Baby Lips line, I knew it would be love at first use! As a woman with fuller lips I am often times reluctant to wear full color lip products. And sometimes I just don’t want anything as glossy as a gloss.

Baby Lips leaves your lips feeling moisturized and smooth all while giving you a hint of color. Some of the shades have a heavier tint while others are strictly for moisture. I could not be happier with the product.

Whats in My Purse?

I love to watch all the “What’s in My Purse” videos that are all over YouTube, mostly because I am nosy but also because I find it interesting. I love to see what other girls cant leave the house without, weird I know, but hey what can I say? So today I am going to show you all what’s in my purse.

Disclaimer: I considered cleaning my purse before doing this post but I decided it would be more fun to just dive right it, but I must warn you, deep down in side I am totally a hoarder!

So here we go, lets take a look inside my purse and see just how serious my problem really is!

The bag I am currently carrying is the Penthouse bag from JustFab. If you remember I did a full review on this bag a few post back as well as on my YouTube channel Saprina D tv, If your interested be sure to check it out!

Everyday I hoard around with me;

2 pairs of sun glasses

2 note pads (one for My Youtube/Blog and one for my Home Managment)

My phone

Keys

6...yes 6 lip products (Dont judge the madness)

A compact for touch ups

Bobby Pins

My nook

A spare charger, because I am a freak who is afraid of my battery dying

Ear buds

A nail file and nail polish

A lint roller

An airline boarding pass (Not sure why I still have it, its the hoarder in me)

Hand lotion

Check book

Old mail

I am not sure why but it seems the larger my bag the more crap I seem to toss inside it.

My Basic Foundation Routine

Hello beauties! I wanted to make a video to show my basic foundation routine. This is my routine for when I want to look a little more polished, special occasions, or for a night out. This is not my everyday routine. Most days I wear very minimal foundation or a tinted moisturizer because even though full face make-up looks great, its also important to allow your skin to breath now and then J

And most important, you can apply all the makeup in the world but you need to start with a good canvas which means eating right, drinking lots of water and taking care of your skin. This is the most important! Makeup then just comes in to enhance your beauty.

SaprinaD tv is Born

So I finally did it, I finally ventured off into the world of YouTube. I have wanted to start my own YouTube channel for a really long time, but it just never seemed like the right time, well I decided its never going to be the right time and I might as well just do it! So that's what I spent yesterday doing!

Let me tell you I had no idea making videos was so much work! I spent my entire Sunday recording and editing. I have a whole new level of respect for all the Gurus out their. But after much blood sweat and tears, SaprinaD tv was born! It's is finally up! This morning I posted my first video. Its just a simple introduction video, but I am super excited about it none the less.

I have two more videos in the work and plan to have at least one of them up this week. If there’s any topics or tutorials that you guys want to see let me know and Be sure to check out Saprina D tv and tell me what you think!

Ipsy March Glam Bag Review

Some girls like flowers or candies delivered to their doors. Me, I like beauty boxes! There's something magical about a package arriving in the mail stocked with teeny-tiny products that makes me feel like it's my birthday, once every month. This review will be for my March Ipsy Glam bag.

This months theme was The Great Escape.

It was supposed to be filled with travel friendly items. I thought the theme was executed well.

Lets start with the good; I loved this months bag. Up until now all of my bags have been solid colors. The blue and white nautical print was super cute and just right for spring break!

Lets move on to what’s inside…

Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist: This is a good size mist that is great for hydrating your skin when it's warm outside. The bottle I received is 1 oz. The full size is 6.75 oz.
This contains rosehip, ylang ylang, grapeseed oil and antioxidant rich organic juices.
The full size retails for $22. The value of this is ~$3.50.

L.A. Fresh Travel-lite Makeup Remover wipes.
Cool. I can always use some make-up remover wipes. These come with 8 in a travel pack. They are supposed to dissolve even heavy duty makeup. I haven’t used them yet, I plan on taking them on vacation with me at the end of the month.
These retail for $1.99

Yaby Eye shadow refill
This is a brand I've never heard of before, and these are the tiniest eye shadows.
I received an Emerald Green shade called So Vein as well as a beige shade called Sand. Unfortunately, the eye shadows aren't that pigmented and are actually kind of chalky. I can work with them though. A good primer may help.
Dune. Full size eye shadows are 3 grams and retail for $3.15.

Glamrx Mini Freestyle Palette
Love this! It's a cute palette that you can add little eye shadows/blushes etc. Having so many monthly subscriptions I have a fair share of sample shadows, this little pallet is perfect for storing them! It will also be great for storing a single blush from my blush pallets when I travel.

The Verdict:
There were definitely some hits and misses in this bag. Up until now Ipsy has not disappointed, but this months bag was just ok. Honestly, I don't expect this company to please everyone all the time. It's impossible.

Overall I’d guess this months bag was worth about $19.
