This Season everywhere you look we spot this bright white nail polish, which I love. My friend joked that it looks like White Out, but it feels so fresh and modern for spring. Here are three ways to make this new trend work for you!
Go Short and Chic
Since white nails make a statement, this is a great option to downplay the color's boldness.
Try A Trendy Shape
If you want to go a little edgier, choose a long almond nail shape
Play It Up With Subtle Nail Art
The subtle addition of nail art will break up the white and really make the nail pop.
From the first time I laid eyes in the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Pallet, I knew that the deep blue greenish color screamed familiarity, but I could put my finger on where I had seen the color before.
Well today, while working on a blue and green eye tutorial (which will be up next week!) , it suddenly came to me…The blue green color from the Wet N’ Wild Comfort is an almost dead on Dupe for MAC Blue Brown Pigment!
Comfort Zone Pallet $4.99 (BTW its 40% off at RiteAide this week)
When I purchased this product from ULTA and, it was literally love as first swipe. I wanted to write this review immediately after trying it, but that wouldn't be accurate or reliable. So, I waited. I tried it with different moisturizers underneath. I tried it with different concealers and setting powders. I just had to make sure that what I was experiencing wasn't a fluke. Before wildly raving about this product, I wanted to be absolutely certain that this product worked in all occasions. Now that I've put it through the most thorough testing that I can possibly give to a foundation. I am officially declaring this my new Holy Grail Foundation. Keep reading to find out why!
This foundation comes in
14 Shades. From the CoverGirl website:
All-in-one foundation with a long-lasting formula that fuses primer, concealer, and foundation in one easy step! The 3-in-1 formula provides a flawless look that lasts all day long.
All day, longwear formula
Primer, concealer, and foundation in one
Smooth, flawless finish
I love, love, love that this product comes with a pump applicator.
Unlike other long-wear foundations, the consistency of this product is much lighter. It spreads easily across the skin, and you have a nice amount of time to blend before it sets. After it sets, you can still go back and build for more coverage without it becoming cakey. Reminds me of the Makeup Forever Matte Velvet Plus foundation but with only a fraction of the price tag.
Covergirl claims that this is a foundation and primer in once leading you to belive an additional primer was not needed. However, I did experience some oxidation with this product on its own. But once I added my normal primer with the foundation that was no longer an issue.
This product is my new Holy Grail foundation. If you're looking for true, all-day wear and excellent coverage, I would certainly considering giving this one a shot. I give it my highest recommendation.
Few things excite me more than knowing that waiting for me when I get home is a brand spanking new beauty subscription box! Each month a parade of about five or six beauty boxes grace my mail box. Yes, I have become addicted to beauty box subscriptions. So it was no surprise that I succumbed to the temptation of adding yet another box to my ever growing collection.
Enters Beauty Box five! At $12 dollars a month it is one of my more expensive subscriptions (Most of my subscriptions are under $10). There is no option to skip so with Beauty Box 5 its all or nothing.
Today I headed to the mailbox with that amazing feeling of anticipation knowing that inside my mail box would be a small tiffany blue box filled with beauty samples customized just for me!
First let me say shipping with BB5 was SLOW. It took three weeks from the time that I received my confirmation email to the time this baby arrived at my home. I am far too impatient for that.
Inside we find five products….
La Fresh Nail Polish Remover Wipes Retail: $3.99
Brazen Cosmetics Eye shadow: $7.49
Tree Hut Moisturizing lotion/Body Butter: Retail $6.49
H2O Plus Spa Sea Salt Body Wash Retail: $1700
H2o Plus Eyelift Concentrate Retail: $38.00
So far I am not impressed with BB5. I don’t think it was worth the $12, I have never heard of the brands and I am not too sure about the quality of the products. And I definitely don’t think it was worth the three week wait.
Sad to say but I don’t think BB5 will stay apart of my monthly Beauty Box Parade.
It’s the beginning of the month which means its time for monthly favorites!!! I can not believe it’s April already! This year is going by way too fast. But none the less I am happy Spring is finally here!!!
